Many commercial games had this and some blanks you could buy also had a second index hole, IE BASF Universal disks that sold this way. The other problem is most PC drives will not write back or even read the second side of the disk if it is a flippy disk unless it has a second index hole. Some of the newer 5.25 1.2MB drives do not correctly write back Double Density disks. The other thing to keep in mind is that it is also dependent on the PC drive you are using. They don't always master correctly back to disk. G64 files but it isn't always successful because some images were altered so they work correctly on emulators. The SCP can only write back SCP flux files. As stated image conversion is a challenge. I have written many G64 images back to disk using KryoFlux. I have also used KryoFlux and SuperCard Pro. I don't keep my floppy disk scp/kryoflux rig setup all the time or I'd look for you and see, but I'd recommend researching whether the solution you're interested in supports the source and destination types you specifically want. nib files created with ZoomFloppy back to floppy disk. I've had an issue with one of them trying to figure out how to write. nib files as a source for writing to disk. If you're specifically looking to write nib or g64 files to floppy, I don't know whether Kryoflux or Supercard Pro can use. One thing that I've found is that I can't always convert from the source format I want to the destination format I want. In my experience with them, they both work fine for backing up and restoring images. The Kryoflux is shipped from Europe and the SCP from the United States.
